His background has a combination of strategic marketing, management, direct marketing, database marketing, product marketing, consulting, technology, and analytics experience. Andy strives to help organizations reach their next level in marketing, research, technology and strategy. He takes industry-specific understanding, quantitative analysis and qualitative insights and produces actionable, high impact strategy. Andy’s personal objective is to use the right strategy with the right tools at the right time to build in-depth industry relationships and market share by reaching the hearts, minds and buying behaviors of customers.
He possesses startup, mid-market and Fortune 50 experience, both domestic and international, plus experience with nonprofit institutions and successful execution of departmental and organization-level innovative strategies. Andy seeks out opportunities to work with exceptional peers and lead high performance teams with the desire and drive to develop game-changing strategies and products to make a high-impact difference for stakeholders.
In his business leadership roles, Andy has:
- Defined market strategy, technology strategy and business goals
- Conducted primary market, product and technology research and synthesized the results of that research into actionable plans
- Defined, created and fine-tuned messaging & positioning of products and services, including marketing collateral, sales tools, website text, etc.
- Developed, wrote and produced collateral and presentations that delivered business concepts and moderately technical concepts to a diverse audience-base
- Directed sales execution, in concert with sales representatives, at strategic accounts
- Delivered sales force education and enablement through training sessions, creation of sales materials, and one-on-one training with sales representatives, onsite with live accounts
- Enabled demand generation activities including webinars, email campaigns, trade-shows
- Created strategic marketing, analytics and technology teams from the ground up
- Revitalized marketing and product development activities in turnarounds and growth companies
- Identified, developed, and managed practical analytics approaches in several industries
Andy’s unique mix of leadership, marketing, analytics, and technology experience in media, publishing, high tech, and other industries plus experience and understanding of business strategy makes him a valuable resource for growing enterprises.
Andy has a graduate degree from Harvard University as well as additional Harvard training and experience in Analytics and Strategic Marketing Management. He currently directs the information and analytics strategy at In Touch Ministries in Atlanta.
